Our pitches are set beneath majestic, centuries-old olive trees that provide natural shade. For added comfort, shade sails have been installed in selected areas.

Το Liofyto Camping Liofyto Camping in Kythera is a shining example of environmental awareness and green philosophy, seamlessly integrating ecological values into its daily operations.

Environmental Practices & Sustainable Management

Liofyto Camping has implemented a fully functional biological wastewater treatment system. All wastewater is processed on-site, and the clean water is reused for irrigating the olive grove and plants throughout the campsite. Not a single drop goes to waste. Water returns to nature.

Certified Organic Farming

The campsite is located on certified organic farmland (EU Regulation 2018/848, TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas). Cultivation includes Koroneiki variety olive trees and a vineyard with ancient Fokiano grapes. Liofyto Camping is fully aligned with sustainable farming standards and promotes a deep connection between visitors and the agricultural and natural life cycles.
